[Press Release] DJ No-Good "Tear Da Club Up 2K10" N' Da Club Special Edition Hosted By: DJ Paul (of Three 6 Mafia)

Meridian, MS – On Friday, July 30th, 2010, V-Street Entertainment in association with Hypnotize Minds, LLC will release DJ No-Good’s “Tear Da Club Up 2K10” N’ Da Club Special Edition, a mixtape collaboration with DJ Paul (of Three 6 Mafia), for exclusive free download online at http://www.djnogood.com.

In 1995 DJ Paul (Paul Beauregard) and his business partner, Juicy J (Jordan Houston) emerged on the scene with Three 6 Mafia’s critically acclaimed indie release, “Mystic Styles.” The release quickly scanned over 100,000 units independently and led to the duo signing a national distribution with Relativity Records for their imprint, Hypnotized Minds, LLC. Shortly thereafter Relativity merged with Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Records.

15 years later, after receiving numerous certified platinum and gold plaques, awards and accolades the Memphis legends are still on the top of their game. As leading pioneers of the southern movement, they are the only rap group to win an Academy Award (Best Original Song) for their song “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp,” which appeared in John Singleton and Craig Brewer’s film, “Hustle & Flow.”

With production credits and guest appearances with other notable recording artists such as Justin Timberlake, Young Buck Ludacris, UGK, 8-Ball & MJG, etc. the duo is now preparing for the release of their long awaited album “Laws of Power.” The highly anticipated release on Hynotized Minds/Columbia/Sony Records is currently slated to be released later this year. Earlier this month Three 6 Mafia released their new street single, “Keep My Name Out Ya Mouth” which features 1017 Brick Squad Records/Warner Brothers/ Asylum Records’ recording artist Waka Flocka Flame and labelmate, Project Pat. The single is expected to be impacting radio in the weeks to come.

Furthermore, in preparation for Three 6 Mafia’s forthcoming album, DJ Paul and Juicy J are working on several soon to be released individual solo and mixtape projects, respectively, to build anticipation for their “Laws of Power” opus. DJ Paul is currently prepping his follow-up to last year’s solo effort, “Scale-A-Ton” with his upcoming album titled, “Too Kill Again” The Album. His newly released single, “I’m A Show My” featuring Mac Butta is gaining DJ support in a variety of markets throughout the south.

While DJ Paul and Juicy J are working on individual and collective business endeavors, Three 6 Mafia is still remains a major priority for the pair. They are currently working on another reality show tentatively titled, “Cookin’ Ain’t Easy.” Their entrepreneurial spirit has grown the Three 6 Mafia brand internationally and with the release of their new clothing line, “Dangerus/Skandalus” (http://www.dangerusskandulus.com) expect DJ Paul and Juicy J’s empire to gain global recognition.
