FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Meridian, MS – On Friday, June 25th, 2010, V-Street Entertainment and Slip-N-Slide Records will release Mike Bless’ “Da Crossover” Puttin N’ Work Special Edition for exclusive free download online at http://www.djnogood.com/.

Mike Bless aka Mr. Make It Happen is a native of Akron, OH who has traveled many miles to see his hopes and dreams manifest. Raised in Buffalo, NY, he overcame the lures of the streets and avoided becoming a product of his environment. With a rise in violence and countless neighborhood murders, his mother sent him back to Akron to stay with his father.

While splitting time between both parents on the east coast and the Midwest, Mike Bless made music and basketball his outlet. During his teens, Mike Bless honed his vocal skills in the church choir. Inspired by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, LL Cool J, Scarface and 2Pac, just to name a few, he grew into his own musical style by writing melodic rhythm and blues lyrics and fusing them with rap lyrics. He labeled himself “The Melodic Rapper.”

With many major record labels opening regional offices in the South to sign and break new talent, Mike Bless relocated to Florida in hopes of positioning himself for an opportunity to be seen and get his music heard. In 2008, Mike Bless signed a recording contract with Ted Lucas’ Slip-N-Slide Records after winning the label’s Next Big Star Competition.

Now with the full support of the prestigious label that brought the world multi-platinum recording artists such as Trick Daddy, Trina, Rick Ross, Plies and its most recent signee Jagged Edge, Slip-N-Slide Records is now set to introduce Mike Bless to the masses. Since signing to the storied label, Mike Bless has been in the studio recording new music for his forthcoming debut album, “The Opening Act.” The album is currently slated to have guest appearances from Plies, Trina, Bobby Valentino, Drumma Boy and Papa Duck, amongst a host of others.

In the coming weeks, Slip-N-Slide Records will begin to service the lead single, “Come Over” which was produced by Grammy nominated producer, (Cainon) Lamb to all radio and media outlets. The label is also working Mike Bless’ street single, “Throw That Pu**y Back” featuring fellow Floridian, Papa Duck. In addition to the release of his collaboration with DJ No-Good, “Da Crossover” will be packaged with a bonus R&B mixtape titled “Layin It Down” Vol. 34. Mike Bless states, “I look forward to the world hearing what me and DJ No-Good cooked up together. I respect the love and knowledge he has for the game. I’ll always hold him down because he saw a star in me before the rest of the world did, but please believe that they will soon.”
